At the same time, he served as the editorial board member of the following academic journals:  Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, the Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica, the Chinese Journal of  Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and etc. He is one of the review experts of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

He has been committed to the model informed drug development and precision dosing. 

He has published more than 200 peer reviewed articles, of which 100 has been indexed in the SCI. He is also the Editor-in-chief of the book ‘Basic population pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics analysis’ & ‘Advancement of population pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics analysis’

In addition, he has developed the "clinical decision support system — SmartDose" to provide optimal dosing for antibiotics, anti-epilepsy drugs and so on.
