Ao is Executive Director at Pfizer Development China, he joined Pfizer in 2016 and led a small group of Clinical Pharmacology Leads to support oncology and biosimilar portfolio, since then he held positions of increasing responsibility in Clinical Pharmacology, Early Clinical Development Strategy and Portfolio & Project Management in Development China organization. The Clinical Pharmacology department includes 22 scientists of clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, clinical bioanalytics.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Ao had worked at Novartis Oncology in China and CMIC in US.  Ao received his Bachelor of Pharmacology from Peking University and PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College.  Following this training, he served as Clinical Pharmacologist in Clinical Research Unit at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.

Ao is a sports fun, was a volleyball player in college, then played tennis for several years, now he is into running, hope can run a marathon one day.

就职于辉瑞中国研发，任执行总监一职。他于2016年加入辉瑞，领导一组临床药理学家，支持肿瘤和生物类似药管线的研发。随着他在辉瑞中国研发的职责的增长，他所负责的部门包括临床药理，早期临床研发策略，项目和产品线管理。其中临床药理部门共有22名科学家，包含临床药理，定量药理，临床生物分析。

在加入辉瑞前，彭翱曾分别就职于诺华肿瘤（中国）和CMIC（美国）。他在北京大学获得药理学学士学位以及在北京协和医学院获得临床药理学博士学位。完成博士培训后他就职于北京协和医院，担任临床药理学家。
