Graduated from the School of Medicine and Graduate School at Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, Dr Shi completed his postdoctoral training at UCSF under the mentorship of Professor Sheiner and Professor Benowitz. Dr. Shi has a total of 32 year experience in drug development. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Enitiate. Previously he was the Chief Development Officer of dMed for 3 years and head of Early Clinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology at Roche Innovation Center Shanghai for nearly 8 years. He also spent 20 years with increasing responsibilities in global pharmas in the US including Berlex, Aventis, Forest, Daiichi-Sankyo and Allergan in before returning to China. He has multiple visiting Professorships including Peking University Clinical Research Institute, Shanghai Huashan Hospital and Anhui Medical University, serving as Course Chair of CCDRS and Yeehong Business School on Early Clinical Development. He is a member of ICH E11A expert group and several expert panels of CDE/NMPA, a Fellow of Clinical Pharmacology of American College, a member of American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics and a standing member of Chinese Quantitative Pharmacology Society. Trained numerous Master/PhD students and post doctoral fellows in the US and China.
