Dr. Hong Lu is the group head of Clinical Measurement Sciences at Merck Serono (Beijing) Pharmaceutical R&D Co., Ltd. His team is accountable for clinical development and registration support in clinical pharmacology, biomarker/CDx, Biostatistics, and stat programming in the R&D hub China.
Dr. Lu received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutics at College of Pharmacy, The Ohio State University in 1998, and worked on the drug R&D projects for many years in the pharmaceutical industry in both USA and China.
Dr. Lu is a member of ASCPT and AAPS; and has over 20 publications in the peer-reviewed scientific journals.
His professional interests are focused on model-informed drug development, and application of clinical pharmacology principles to clinical development and registration of innovative drug products.
