2023 International Symposium in Quantitative Pharmacology (ISQP 2023), organized by the Quantitative Pharmacology Committee of the Chinese Pharmacology Society will be held in Shanghai on October 12th ~15th, 2023.

Under the joint efforts of academia, regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical industry, model-informed drug development (MiDD) is booming. The demand for clinical development of innovative drugs in China has increased exponentially since a series of reformations in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., “joining ICH” as well as “implementing centralized drug procurement”) . As an emerging key interdisciplinary field to facilitating novel drug discovery and accelerating development process, quantitative pharmacology plays a crucial role in advancing the clinical development of innovative drugs in China and giving products an edge in global markets. Meanwhile, quantitative pharmacology will also greatly improve the rational use of drug in clinical practice following the concept of model-informed precision dosing (MiPD) and breakthroughs in relevant fields. Since 2007, the Quantitative Pharmacology Committee of the Chinese Pharmacology Society has consecutively held seven successful international symposiums which has become a grand gathering in the field of quantitative pharmacology in East Asia...
